Kitchen Remodeling – Many Deephaven kitchens sit inside post-war ramblers with compact, compartmentalized layouts, or inside older cottage-style lake homes where the kitchen was never the architectural focus. We rework these into open, functional spaces without losing the low profile and character that make these homes distinct.
Bathroom Remodeling – Deephaven’s older homes often carry small, original bathrooms with dated tile and fixtures. We rebuild these into spa-style spaces that fit the scale of the home, whether that means a compact, elegant primary bath in a rambler or a more generous suite in a newer lakefront build.
Decks, Porches, and Three-Season Spaces – Deephaven’s wooded lots and lake frontage, particularly around Cottagewood and Northome, are built for outdoor living. Decks, screened porches, and patios that take advantage of mature tree cover and lake views are among the most requested Deephaven projects.
Great Rooms and Main-Level Renovations – Older Wayzata estates were often built with formal, separated rooms. The first conversation — in your home or at our office — is at no cost. Once we move into detailed design work, there’s a design fee that’s clearly outlined upfront. That fee covers the time of our designers and is credited against the project if you move forward into construction.
Not necessarily. Boyer is a design-build firm, which means our in-house design team can take a project from initial concept through construction documents. For projects with unusual structural complexity or historic considerations, we’ll bring in an outside architect when it serves the project. Either way, you have one team accountable for the result.
