It is with humble JOY that we announce that Boyer Building Corporation was granted one of the coveted SPINNAKER AWARDS at The Minnetonka School District’s “A Celebration of Excellence” event, held last week. The Spinnaker Award is presented annually to individuals or groups who exemplify volunteerism, community and serving the greater good. Like the spinnaker on a sailboat, the groups or individuals recognized with this award are out in front, full-sail, leading us toward the fulfillment of our dreams. These individuals are powered by the winds of passion, hope, confidence, and inspiration. Honorees may be individual volunteers, financial contributors, volunteer project or event groups, and business partners like Boyer Building.
Presented by the Minnetonka School Board, we received the following on how we were chosen:
“Boyer Building has supported Minnetonka Community Education for more than 17 years. In that time, it has bade many great events even more successful, such as Tour de Tonka and the The Firecracker Run. Through its immense generosity, Boyer building has donated and constructed the Tour de Tonka finish line scaffolding arch every year. Boyer consistency contributes to MCEC’s facilities by building storage spaces, as well as by donating materials for multiple shelving projects. “Boyer’s support of Minnetonka Community Education is proof that our missions are in sync – to serve and meet the needs of the community, shared nominator Tim Litfin, Executive Director of Community Education. “Boyer has always taken visible and tangible action to renew its commitment because the company believes in community.” Bob, John and Paul Boyer, who lead the team at the company, further engage with our community by volunteering to meet with students interested in construction on school career days. Boyer’s overall involvement in our community is truly outstanding. Thank you for your dedication and generosity! We re immensely grateful for the irreplaceable contributions to y have made to our community.”
Thank you Minnetonka Schools for honoring us with this award. We love our community and are proud to be active members all these years.
