Boyer Building is proud to have played a key role in the development of the new 1,200-foot boardwalk at Baylor Regional Park in Norwood Young America. This stunning walkway stretches across many acres, providing visitors with an ideal space to enjoy Minnesota’s beautiful natural surroundings. Built on 4×8′ buoyant floats at each section, the boardwalk offers a stable, safe path for walking while minimizing the environmental impact on the land.
For the construction, we chose treated yellow southern pine, a material that’s perfectly suited for Minnesota’s diverse weather conditions. Its durability and strength ensure that the boardwalk will withstand both summer heat and winter cold, offering park-goers a reliable walking path for years to come.
This project at Baylor Regional Park highlights Boyer Building’s commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and sustainable solutions for outdoor environments. Whether you’re taking a leisurely stroll or enjoying a day exploring the park, this boardwalk is designed to enhance your experience of the natural beauty the area has to offer.
