It’s always fun to see how homeowners make a space their own over time.

This previously built custom Boyer Building home in Independence, Minnesota was already beautiful — and the new homeowners recently added some incredible updates that completely changed the feel of the interiors.

Rich charcoal-black painted cabinetry brings depth and drama to the kitchen, while the linear tile backsplash extending behind the sink into the pantry adds a clean, sophisticated layer of texture. The wallpaper selection in the front entry and other niches throughout the kitchen create warmth and personality, and the paneled dining room delivers that timeless richness that never goes out of style.

Sometimes it’s the finish selections and thoughtful design updates that make a home feel entirely new again.
